Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Rallyo when you use this website. By creating a Player ID or Host ID, or by using the site, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Rallyo.

1. What Rallyo is, and what it is not

Rallyo is a community website. It helps pickleball players find games, and helps hosts list and run them: open plays, tournaments and court shares.

Rallyo does not organise, run, supervise or insure any event. Every event belongs to its host, and every court to its venue. Rallyo is not a party to any agreement between players, hosts and venues, and is not their agent, employer or partner.

2. Who can use Rallyo

You must be 18 or over, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you and supervises your use.

Use your real name or the name you are known by on court, an email address you control, and one Player ID. You are responsible for everything done with your account, so keep access to your email safe.

You can also join an event as a guest, without a Player ID: you accept these terms by ticking the box on the guest form. Give your own name and a mobile number or email address that is yours. A guest's games are not rated and do not count in the standings.

3. Hosts

If you host, you are solely responsible for your event. That includes the venue and the court booking, any permits, the fee and what it covers, your refund rules, who plays, safety at your event, and the scores you record. You must also follow the venue's rules and the law.

Keep your event details accurate, and tell players promptly about changes or cancellations.

Use players' and guests' details only to run your event. Do not share them, sell them or use them for anything else. Protect them as the Data Privacy Act requires, and delete what you no longer need.

Any taxes, permits or registrations that your hosting requires are your responsibility.

If you add a Facebook link, you agree that it is shown publicly on your Host card, where anyone can use it to message you. Add only a link to your own profile or page.

Rallyo does not run, monitor or keep the conversations you have with players on Messenger, Facebook or anywhere else off Rallyo, and is not responsible for them. Anything you and a player arrange off Rallyo, including payments, refunds, spots and changes to an event, is between you and that player, at your own risk.

Do not use your link, or the contact players make through it, to spam or harass anyone, or to solicit players for anything unrelated to your events on Rallyo.

Rallyo may remove a link that is misused, that does not lead to your own profile or page, or that players report, and may suspend a Host ID that keeps misusing it.

4. Payments and refunds

Players pay hosts directly, in cash at the venue or by GCash to the host. Rallyo does not collect, hold, process or guarantee any payment, takes no commission, and gives no refunds.

The receipt you upload and the payment record on your Player card are a record for you and the host. They are not proof that a host received the money, and not a guarantee of a spot.

A request paid by GCash cannot be withdrawn on Rallyo, by a player or a guest. If you cannot attend, talk to the host. Refunds, credits and payment disputes are only between the player and the host.

Asking to join is not a spot: the host approves who plays. When an event is full, or others are already waiting for a spot, new requests join its waitlist in the order they were sent, and the host decides when to move someone in. If you pay by GCash while on the waitlist and do not get in, ask the host for a refund.

Never send money to anyone outside the payment details on the event, and report any suspected scam to us.

5. Your health and safety

Pickleball is a physical sport, with real risks of injury such as strains, falls and collisions, and harm from heat. You take part in any event at your own risk. You are responsible for being fit to play, for your own equipment, and for following the host's and the venue's safety rules.

Rallyo is not responsible for injury, illness, loss or damage to property, or anything else that happens at or on the way to an event. The host and the venue answer for the conduct of their events and the condition of their courts, as the law provides.

6. Ratings, scores and results

Ratings, records and standings are calculated from the scores hosts record on Rallyo. They are community estimates, not official rankings. They are not DUPR ratings or affiliated with any federation. We may correct or remove results that are wrong or false.

7. What is not allowed

Harassing, threatening, discriminating against or abusing anyone, on the site or at the court.

Pretending to be someone else, creating fake accounts or events, or recording false scores.

Uploading fake or edited receipts, or anything unlawful, sexual, violent, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Using Rallyo for gambling or betting, for spam or advertising, or to collect other users' information.

Interfering with the site: probing or breaking its security, overloading it, or scraping it with automated tools.

We may remove content, cancel events or requests, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the law requires, we may also report the matter to the authorities.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: names, event details, images and scores. You give Rallyo a free, non-exclusive licence to host, display and process it, only to run the site as described in our Privacy notice. You confirm you have the right to post it.

9. Rallyo's name and site

The Rallyo name, logo, design and software belong to Rallyo. Do not copy them, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. Maps include data © OpenStreetMap contributors, and map tiles © MapTiler.

10. Partners and sponsors

Rallyo may work with partners, such as pickleball brands, shops, venues and event sponsors. A placement a partner pays for is always labelled "Partner".

Player perks, discounts and prizes come from the partner who offers them, under that partner's own terms. The partner, not Rallyo, is responsible for giving them.

Rallyo is not responsible for partners' products, services, shops or events, and does not guarantee them. Anything you buy from a partner is between you and that partner.

Rallyo never shares players' personal information with partners.

11. The service as it is

Rallyo is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or secure. We do not promise that any event, venue, host or player is as described.

We may change, pause or stop any part of Rallyo at any time.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rallyo and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost money or profit, or lost data. This applies to anything arising from events, hosts, venues, other users, payments between users, or your use of the site.

Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to one thousand pesos (₱1,000). Nothing in these terms limits liability that Philippine law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Your responsibility to us

If your event, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law leads to a claim against Rallyo, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable costs, to the extent the law allows.

14. Closing your account

You can stop using Rallyo and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other users or the site at risk.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. We will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.

If it is not settled, the proper courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will announce it on the site before it applies. Using Rallyo after that means you accept the new terms.
